ITINERARY |
|
Day 1. Torugart Pass (from China) -
Tash-Rabat Today you are welcome met on the border between hige China and small Kyrgyzstan -
TORUGART PASS. After all checkings on the border you are driving to
TASH-RABAT place for your firts overnight in KYRGYZSTAN. Here you'll find an ancient building - it used to be the inn for caravan travellers in the times of GREAT SILK ROAD.
Day 2. Issyk-Kul Lake Your day is for transferring to
ISSYK-KUL LAKE near KARAKOL town 400 km from
TASH-RABAT via NARYN region's capital town and crossing the river NARYN. You also drive via AT-BASHI ancient village. Your overnight is on the shore of the lake on chalet (or tents, Yurt Camp or Hotel in
Karakol) 1600m above the sea level.
Day 3. Karakol - Djety-Oguz This day is for your visiting of
DJETY-OGUZ valley for Horse-eagle-folklore show program. This
show takes place in famous valley in the place which is called Dragon valley near red rocks. Included:
Eagle show (golden eagle), national Kyrgyz games on horseback,
folclore concert and picnic with national dishes. Duration of program is about 4-5 hours. Then you go to
Karakol for your overnight on the south of
Issyk-Kul region.
Day 4. Karakol - Bishkek KARAKOL, a beautiful town which caprures the grace and elegance of the south region of Kyrgyzstan. Touring this serene town in the morning, being hosted by our guide, you will learn the history of this pre-USSR town. You visit the
ORTHODOX CHURCH, ORIENTAL BAZAAR, CHINESE MOSQUE, MUSEUM OF ARTS,
PRZHEVALSKY (the great and famous explorer of Tien-Shan)
MEMORIAL etc. Afternoon you drive to BISHKEK, the capital of KYRGYZTSAN - 400
km from KARAKOL, with short stop on the
ISSYK-KUL LAKE shore via BOOM gorge with intricate rock canyons and visiting
BURANA TOWER (11th c) en-route. Hotel accomodation is for overnight upon your arriving.
Day 5. Bishkek Begin your day with a sightseeing tour, hosted by our guide. Highlights include the ORTHODOX CHURCH, ORIENTAL BAZAAR, NATIONAL SQUARE, MUSEUM OF ARTS etc. Afternoon is at your leisure.
Day 6. Bishkek -Ala-Archa Today for car tour to
ALA-ARCHA valley (National Park) and excursion along the river up to the end of trail. Then back to Bishkek, dinner and transfer to your hotel. Evening is at your leisure.
Day 7. Bishkek - Tashkent Today you continiue on your unforgettable travel to TASHKENT, Uzbekistan's capital city. Hotel "SAEHAT" welcomes your for this night. Your leisurely dinner is so pleasant after 580 km of road through the towns and interesting planned villages of UZBEKISTAN.
Day 8. Tashkent - Samarkand This morning you begin your drive through lovely territory of Uzbekistan to the famous with culture city SAMARKAND. This city is 350km from Tashkent and driving takes you 5 hours. Upon arrival, you enjoy a wonderful sightseeing tour of this ancient town. Hotel "SAMARKAND" is for your tonight.
Day 9. Samarkand - Bukhara Your morning is free to relax touring this city and watching the beauty of SAMARKAND. Then you bid farewell to friendly SAMARKAND and have a transfer to BUKHARA, the most famous city of ancient culture and buildings. Today's distance is 270km and again you'll be in the very stream of this local life. Your trip will take you 4 hours and bring you to Hotel "BUKHORO".
Day 10. Bukhara The day is at leisure to do what you wish. You have a city-tour, hosted by our guide, then you have many possibilities for excursions. Your tour guide will be available to help you to plan your day. Overnight in convinient "BUKHORO" again.
Day 11. Bukhara - Tashkent You depart BUKHARA to TASHKENT with many pleasant memories of your visiting this paradise of ancient culture. Upon arrival, you are in your old familiar hotel for your last overnight in Uzbekistan.
Day 12. Tashkent - Return home. Today you will depart for home (or have a transfer to another city for your departure) having in mind many warm moments of your tour in Central Asia. |
