ITINERARY

Day 1. Arrive Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
The adventure begins in Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyzstan, (optional Almaty (KZ), Tashkent (UZ)). Afternoon at leisure for your own exploration of this vibrant city. Overnight at the hotel Issyk-Kul, 9km from the city centre (approx $2 return taxi fare to the National Square).

Day 2. Bishkek and about
Begin your day with a sightseeing tour, hosted by our guide. Highlights include the ORTHODOX CHURCH, ORIENTAL BAZAAR, NATIONAL SQUARE and ARTS MUSEUM. Afternoon sightseeing tour by car to ALA-ARCHA valley (a Kyrgyz National Park). Overnight at the Hotel Issyk-Kul.

Day 3. Bishkek - Base Camp Ashu-Kul-Tor
After lunch, you will be met and transferred to your campsite at the Naryn Bridge Base Camp. Visit 11th century BURANA TOWER (an ancient Silk Route staging post) en-route. Overnight camping in tents on the banks of the river Chu.

Day 4. Orto-Tokoy lake
After breakfast and safety instruction you will pack your luggage to be transferred by car and set off to begin an unforgettable rafting adventure. Today's leg will take just over 4 hours of excitement and fun. The base camp 100km downstream will be waiting to welcome you for the next night's camping.

Day 5. Cold Spring camp
Today you will reach Cold Spring camp a further 100km downstream. Today's raft takes 5 hours, packed full of watery exhilaration and adventure. At Cold Spring you will be collected and transferred by car to Bishkek. Here you will have dinner in a restaurant and spend your last night at the Hotel Issyk-Kul.

Day 6. Bishkek - Depart for home
Today you are homeward bound, refreshed, exhilarated and taking with you a lifetime's supply of spectacular memories.
