PROGRAMME  TURKESTAN J.S. COMPANY.    C 3    
ASCENT OF KHAN-TENGRI (7010 m) PEAK POBEDA (7439 m)          

The route begins in Bishkek - the capital of Kyrghyzstan. You will go by plane or by vehicle to the suburbs of Karakol. Overnight in the cottages on the bank of the Issyk-Kul Lake. After (having reached) Inylchek base, located in the valley of Inylchek river, it is necessary to have an acclimatization walk. In the morning you will go by helicopter to the high-altitude base  zvezdochka. Overnight in the camping. If you have made this choice,  interesting routes,  meetings with climbers from  different countries are in store for you.

Day. 1-2. Arrive in Bishkek (Almaty, Tashkent).  Transfer from Almaty (Tashkent) to Bishkek. Trip to Karakol (400 km).  
 Overnight on the bank of Lake Issyk-Kul.  Chalet  (1600 m).          
3. Trip to Inylchek base-camp (200 km), located in the valley of Inylchek River (2500m)  
4. Acclimatization.   
5. Flight (45 min) to the high-altitude base-camp  zvezdochka (alt-4100 m).          
6. Medical examination, route  consultations, preparation for the ascent.     
7. You are offered a classical rout along the western ridge. Traverse South Inylchek towards Khan-Tengri  Peak; in   7 km pitch camp 1 on the right-lateral moraine  
8. Ascent along the Semenovsky Glacier to the bulkhead (5900 m) between Chapaev and Khan-Tengri Peaks. Pitch   camp 2 (dig a cave or pitch a tent).   
9. Acclimatization.         
10. Descent down the Glacier to  zvezdochka base-camp.   
11-13. Rest. Preparation for the ascent.    
14-15. Ascent to the bulkhead (Camp 2).    
16. Ascent to the mark 6700 m (Camp 3).     
17. Ascent of the summit of Khan-Tengri. Descend to the 3 camp.         
18. Descent to the base-camp  zvezdochka. 
19-20. Rest. Preparation  for the ascent.  
21. You are offered a classical route along the northern ridge. Traverse  ve dochka Glacier towards Pobeda Peak, at    8 km from the base of the slope, pitch Camp 1.   
22. Climb (along  the slope) towards a  ridge to 5100 m. Camp 2.         
23. Climb (along the rocky slope) to (mark) 5800 m. Camp 3.         
24. Climb (along the rocky slope) towards  the ice wall (6200 m). Camp 4.     
25. Climb to the snow plateau, traverse to the left to the rocky ride. Climb along it to (mark) 7200 m. Camp 5.     
26. Climb along the rocky ridge to (mark) 7200 m. Camp 6.         
27. Ascent of the summit. Descend to Camp 6.         
28. Descend to the Camp 3.   
29. Descend to  zvezdochka base-camp.   
30. Flight to the base-camp Inylchek and trip to Issyk-Kul lake.         
31. Trip to Bishkek (Almaty).   
32. Return home.
