PROGRAMME  TURKESTAN J.S. COMPANY.    C   2     
ASCENT OF PEAK POBEDA (7439 m)         

	The program begins in  Bishkek - the  capital  of  Kyrgyzstan. You will go to the suburbs of  Karakol by vehicle or by plane. Overnight in the cottages on the bank of the Issyk-Kul Lake. After having  reached  Inylchek base, located  in the valley of Inylchek river, it is necessary to have an acclimatization walk. In the morning you will   fly by helicopter to  the  high-altitude base  zvezdochka, overnight in the camps. If you have made this choice interesting routes and meetings with climbers from different countries are in store for you.                            Success in ascent and a happy return  

Day. 1-2.Arrive in Bishkek (AlmAty, Tashkent). Transfer from Almaty (Tashkent) to Bishkek. Trip to Karakol (400 km).   Overnight on the bank of the Issyk-Kul Lake. Chalet (1600 m).             
3. Trip to Inylchek base (200 km), located in the valley of the Inylchek River  (2500 m).   
4. Acclimatization.  
5. Flight (45 min) to the high-altitude base-camp  zvezdochka (4100 m).            
6. Medical examination, route consultations, preparation for the ascent.   
7. You are offered a classical route along the northern ridge. Traverse  zvezdochka  Glacier towards Pobeda peak; in   8 km near the foothill of  the slope, pitch camp 1         
8. Climb (along the slope) towards a rocky ridge - mark 5100 m. Camp 2.  
9. Climb (along the rocky slope) to mark 5800 m. Camp 3.          
10. Climb (along the rocky slope) towards the ice wall (6200 m). Camp 4.   
11. Acclimatization, discussion of the route. Camp.          
12. Down to the Glacier to  ve dochka base- camp.  
13-14. Rest. Preparation for the ascent.  
15-17. Climb to camp 4.   
18. Climb to the snow plateau, traverse to the left to the rocky ridge. Climb along it to (mark) 6900 m. Camp 5.   
19. Climb along the rocky ridge to (mark) 7200 m. Camp 6.   
20. Ascent of the summit.  Descend to Camp 6.   
21. Descend to Camp 3.    
22. Descend to  zvezdochka base-camp.   
23. Flight to the base-camp Inylchek.   
24-25. 2 spare days in case of foul weather. If the days were not used you can rest by Lake Issyk-Kul.    
26. Trip to Bishkek (Almaty).  
27. Trip (fly) to Tashkent or sightseeing of Bishkek (Almaty).    
28. Return home.
