ITINERARY |
|
Day 1. Arrive Almaty, Kazakhstan You begin your unforgettable tour in ALMATY, the capital of Kazakhstan. Upon arrival enjoy a welcome lunch in a restaurant of national dishes with your friends. Then you have a sightseeing tour, hosted by our guide (Highlights include the ZENKOV CHURCH, ORIENTAL BAZAAR, NATIONAL SQUARE, MUSEUM OF ARTS etc.). Hotel welcomes you for this overnight.
Day 2. Almaty - Medeo Complex Your adventure continiues with grandiose excursion to MEDEO COMPLEX - the largest Skating Rink in the world. Then you visit the picruresque U-shape valley CHIMBULAK with exciting mountain buildings. Hotel accomodation for overnight in a local hotel or back to Almaty.
Day 3. Almaty - Kapchagay, Chilik This morning you drive through lovely towns and villages Suburbs of Almaty to KAPCHAGAY men-made lake and river CHILIK. The surface of Kapchagay is amazing with its greatness. Your tour includes the stop on the shore and you have possibility to try the water of this desert lake. Chilik river is flows into the Kapchagay originating in remote Kungey Ala-Too - the border gorge between KYRGYZSTAN and KAZAKHSTAN. For overnight you drive back to Almaty.
Day 4. Almaty - Bolshoye Almaatinskoye Ozero (Large Almaty Lake) For this day our program brings you to Large Almaty Lake in the area of Almaty-Almagiri mountains. You arrive here for a close-up look at this mountains emerald. Here you will tour area hiking around in the forestry region. Then, in the evening, you go back to Almaty.
Day 5. Issyk-Kul Lake Your day is for transferring to
ISSYK-KUL LAKE near KARAKOL town 400 km from Almaty via
CHARYN CANYON (the small copy of American's Bryce or Grand or Zion Canyons) and
TEMIRLAN STONES, place where is legendary burial ground of ancient Kyrgyz-Kazakh host, en-route. Your overnight is on the shore of the lake on chalet 1600m above the sea level.
Day 6. Karakol You travel to KARAKOL, a beautiful town which captures the grace and elegance of the south region of Kyrgyzstan. Touring this serene town, being hosted by our guide, you will learn the history of this pre-USSR town. You visit the
ORTHODOX CHURCH, ORIENTAL BAZAAR, CHINESE MOSQUE, MUSEUM OF ARTS etc. Afternoon you tour to the shore of
ISSYK-KUL lake to the PRZHEVALSKY (a great and famous explorer of Tien-Shan)
MEMORIAL 12 km from Karakol. Your evening is at leisure and walking around.
Day 7. Karakol - Djety-Oguz This day is for your visiting of
DJETY-OGUZ valley for Horse-eagle-folklore show program. This show takes place in famous valley in the place which is called Dragon valley near red rocks. Included: Eagle show (golden eagle), national Kyrgyz games on horseback, folclore concert and picnic with national dishes. Duration of program is about 4-5 hours. Then you go back to Karakol for your last night on the south of Issyk-Kul region.
Day 8. Karakol - Bishkek Your day is for transferring BISHKEK, the capital of KYRGYZTSAN - 400 km from KARAKOL, with short stop on the
ISSYK-KUL LAKE shore via BOOM gorge with intricate rock canyons and visiting BURANA TOWER (11th c) en-route. Hotel accomodation is for overnight upon your arriving.
Day 9. Bishkek -Ala-Archa Begin your day with a sightseeing tour, hosted by our guide. Highlights include the ORTHODOX CHURCH, ORIENTAL BAZAAR, NATIONAL SQUARE, MUSEUM OF ARTS etc. Afternoon is for car tour to
ALA-ARCHA valley (National Park) and excursion along the river up to the end of trail. Then back to Bishkek, dinner and transfer to your hotel. Evening is at your leisure.
Day 10. Bishkek - Almaty You depart BISHKEK to ALMATY with many pleasant memories of your visiting Kyrgyzstan. Upon arrival, you are in your old familiar hotel for your last overnight in Kazakhstan. Tomorrow you will return home from airport of Almaty. In the case of departure from BISHKEK, you have this day for shopping, looking a sightseeings and your own planes.
Day 11. Return home. Today you will depart for home having in mind many warm moments of your tour in two Central Asian Republics. |
